Every bad thing that has ever happened in the United States, happened under Capitalism. The Native Genocide, Slavery, the Great Depression. They did not just happen alongside Capitalism. They happened BECAUSE of Capitalism.
Some of the worst thing outside the US were also enabled through capitalism. The common German in the 30s-40s had every economical reason to be complicit. They were able to start with people who were not "contributing" to the health of the Riche.

Capitalism values profit over all else.
Capitalism is the "make due" economic philosophy. The bourgeoisie gather ever more wealth, and the rest of us have to make due. Capitalists will exploit, undermine, and destroy everything for profit. And we will all have to make due with the consequences.
Think of disasters like wildfires, and floods. Not just that they are becoming more common because of climate change. But that they are known to be reaccuring. Why wouldn't we plan accordingly? Just like with most other problems it's capitalism. We could have prebuilt structures, and equipment ready to protect people, and property. But it wouldn't make anyone money. At least not as much as they would make from the resulting damage and desperation. That's why housing costs go up after a disaster.
within capitalism nothing is made with your health and safty in mind that isn't regulated to do so.
Prespective: It is no coincidence that a majority of the wealthy people in this country, were born wealthy.
Wealth isn't just the freedom from present struggles.
It is the luxury of choice.
It is the readymade connections to success that it's built upon.
It is the priority over the poor that it neccessitates.
Profit = Exploitation (profit is equal to the amount of labor being exploited by a capitalist)
Exploitation - Quality of Life (exploitation necessitates a sacrifice in the proletariat's quality of life)
Profit ∝ General Quality of Life (profit are gained in direct inverse proportion to the general quality of life)

Excited Delerium: A psychological term made up by people who are not professionals in psychology. That is often used to explain away police brutaity, and manslaughter. I.E. Taser deaths, and George Floyd's murder.

Privitization is counter to a free market. Literal Hypocrisy. Forcing us to fund a private organizations that we don't get to choose.

Immigration and other countries didn't steal our jobs. Capitalists Sold them from underneath us.

Tolorating intolerance, is intolerance by proxy.

Owning a person is evil. Even if you "pamper them" or "treat them better than your own kids." people will often come to terms with their situation. And maybe even learn to appreciate the good things they still have. But that does not change the fact that you have stolen their future.
Either you acknoledge that systemic racism still exists, and negitvely impacts black people. Or you believe black people are inherently less capable. There is no third option.
And no, even if there weren't any laws that specifically target black people remaining. Pretending that an action/decision can't have secondary effects, is either incredibly dumb or maliciously disingenuous. |
Liberals who have a need to center themselves in the fight for equality are not helping. Think of a white person wearing locks. perhaps they think they're "normalizing" the hair style in solidarity with black people. But notice how this form of "helping"just happens to coincide with being able to wear the cool hairstyle. without any of the baggage hat comes with being a black person, with black hair, living in a system that is racist toward them anytime they're percieved as acting "too black." got a touch of the white savior complex, too. that they need you to normalize their hair, for them.

Chattel Slavery wasn't made fully illigal in the United States until 1942. Though there are cases Like that of Mae Louise Walls Miller, as recent as 1963.
EVEN IF slavery was fully gone by 1865. Explicit legal racism was legal until the mid 1960's. There were already Billionairs by that time. The idea that there aren't any lingering consequences from that disparity is laughable.
A lot of families didn't own slaves until after slavery was abolished, and they were able to lease them from the government. Because it was a lot cheaper then owning them outright. It was through the "exeption clause" as a punishment for a crime. And the most common crime being "not given."
White guilt doesn't help black people, and it shouldn't be black people's problem to fix systemic racism, or correct racist behaviors in white people.
systemic racism is not just saying slurs. It's also experimenting on black bodies for hundreds of years without their knowledge or consent, untl they cannot trust health care professionals. They struggle with the same things as everyone else, but they cannot trust the people that could help them. It's systemic.

You have to play the game if you aren't going to commit to a revolution. You either change the system from within, or you change the system. The only other option is complacency. And we already know, you can't afford to be neutral on a moving train.
Revolution is hard. Terrifying even. Revolution is taking on THE power. Tearing down what stands, and hoping/believing that you have the strength of will to build something better in it's place.
That's why I'm not sure I believe in the people of this country. Not in the amount with the strength to stand up to the system. I believe factors like the immense population, and the amount of crumbs that we're allowed to have are enough to passify the majority.

Political violence is wrong, usually. What Luigi is accused of doing could be an exeption, because the man he killed with a gun, had killed countless people with the mechinisms of capitalism. They all died of terminal capitalism.
Modern conservatism is preaching personal responsibility, without practicing personal responsibility. Everything is everyone else's fault. But liberals are dumb because they say the system is unfair, and needs to be fixed.

Bernies power is of the people. He reaches out to the people. He always finds ways to be open to the people.

TPeople who are fraid of progress, have no confidence in their ability to adapt. Some, rightfuly so.

If I could describe conservatism in two words they'd be defeatism, and complacency.
They ARE like us. They are humans. They eat and shit, just like you do. All mystery is just what their wealth affords them. They are not exeptional, they are not inhuman. Your impulse to otherize them, is an attempt to protect yourself from the fact that you are not a particularly good, or noble person. I say that as someone who isn't particularly good, or noble. I have nice ideals, but that doesn't do anything until I act. Those people have a lot of the same feelings, and urges that we do. They just have a lot of fucking money. And money gives you access to fulfil urges.
